🗓️ Day 1: First Glimpse of the Monolith · Canyon Exploration & Champagne Sunset

Afternoon: Begin Desert Adventure Arrive at Uluru, where a Chinese-speaking guide will meet you and assist with hotel check-in. Later, head to Kata Tjuta National Park for a walk through Walpa Gorge. Stroll between the towering reddish-brown rock slopes and feel the majesty and tranquility of nature.

Evening: Tipsy Moments Head to the Uluru sunset viewing area. We have prepared champagne and gourmet snacks for you. Enjoy a glass while witnessing Uluru transform from ochre red to dark red, and finally to a stunning deep purple under the setting sun.

🗓️ Day 2: Conquering Kings Canyon · Searching for the Desert Eden

Morning: Canyon Challenge Depart early for Watarrka National Park. Take a short break at Kings Creek Station before arriving at Kings Canyon to begin a 3.5-4 hour classic rim walk.

  • Scenery: Follow the steep ridges to see the deep canyon unfold beneath you. Descend into the Garden of Eden, a hidden oasis with lush forests and water pools in the heart of the desert.

  • (Alternatively, choose the relaxing 1-hour Creek Bed Walk path)

Afternoon: Distant Views of Salt Lakes On the return journey, stop at the Mt. Conner lookout to view this tabletop mountain, often mistaken for Uluru. You can also admire the vast, white crystalline expanse of Lake Amadeus.

⚠️ Safety & Climate Warnings

  • Extreme Heat (Summer): Temps can exceed 40°C. Wear light-colored clothing and drink at least 600ml of water per hour (avoid sugary drinks).

  • Winter Warmth (May–June): Significant day-night temperature swings. Heavy jackets are essential for sunrise and dinner events.

  • Heatstroke Signs: If experiencing dizziness, blurred vision, or confusion, notify your guide or contact the Royal Flying Doctor Service (08 8956 2136).

  • Kings Canyon Safety: Always follow the blue triangle markers. If separated from the group, stay in place and wait for help.
