8:00 am — Transfer to Port Stephens

At 8:00 am (please check your SMS confirmation for details), your Chinese-speaking driver and guide will pick you up from your Sydney CBD hotel or B&B (postcode 2000). Free pick-up is available within the Sydney CBD area. If your accommodation is outside the pick-up zone, please meet at Furama Darling Harbour, Chinatown, in front of the former Holiday Inn (68 Harbour Street, Haymarket).

We’ll then set off for Port Stephens, located in Nelson Bay, around 2.5 hours from Sydney. Known as “Blue Water Paradise”, Port Stephens is celebrated for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant dolphins, and wide range of outdoor adventures.

Sandboarding (Optional Upgrade)

Upon arrival, enjoy a thrilling sandboarding adventure (optional upgrade at own expense). Travel across the desert by 4WD and admire the incredible contrast of golden dunes against the turquoise ocean. Climb to the top of a dune and experience the excitement of sliding down at high speed — or simply stroll along the beach and soak in the breathtaking scenery.

Lunch at Local Town

At midday, visit one of the charming coastal towns around Port Stephens for a relaxing lunch (at own expense). Take time to explore the quaint streets, boutique shops and relaxed seaside atmosphere.

Dolphin-Watching Cruise

After lunch, board a scenic dolphin-watching cruise through Nelson Bay. Watch as these friendly marine creatures swim and play around the boat — a truly unforgettable experience. After approximately 1.5 hours on the water, we’ll make our return journey to Sydney, arriving around 7:00 pm.

  • Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz tourist vehicle throughout the tour.
  • Complimentary shuttle service is available for hotels and B&Bs located in Sydney CBD (postcode 2000). If you’re unsure whether your accommodation is within the pick-up area, please contact our customer service team in advance for confirmation.
  • If your address is outside the free pick-up area, the tour will start and end at a designated meeting point in the city.
  • Meeting point: Furama Darling Harbour, Sydney Chinatown, in front of the former Holiday Inn (68 Harbour Street, Haymarket). Please arrive at least 10 minutes early and be on time for departure.

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Maximum group size: 13 guests.
  • Get Travel is not responsible for any missed departures caused by personal delays or failure to meet the tour guide on time.
  • If guests choose to leave the group midway or opt out of certain activities or accommodation, no refunds will be provided for the unused portions.
  • The tour guide may adjust the itinerary order due to weather, road conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Chinese-speaking group itinerary is designed for shared enjoyment. The local guide may make last-minute changes to meeting times, meal times or itinerary order based on the day’s conditions. Guests planning additional activities should be aware that these may not fit within the group schedule. For clarification, please contact a Get Travel consultant before booking.
  • All prices are calculated and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • We strongly recommend that guests purchase their own travel and personal belongings insurance, as Get Travel cannot be held responsible for any associated costs.
  • To ensure smooth arrangements, please book at least ten working days in advance.
  • There are no compulsory shopping stops during this tour. Any shopping done during free time is considered a personal activity and is not connected to Get Travel.
  • Participation in optional activities or attraction tickets is not mandatory. If you wish to join, please purchase tickets directly from the tour guide.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations made more than 7 days before departure are free of charge. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of departure.

Note: If you need to cancel outside of this timeframe, please email us at least 2 business days in advance, based on your departure time zone. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7–28 business days. All cancellation notifications must be received and acknowledged during our business hours.

Important: Get Travel follows the cancellation policy set by the tour operator. We only apply cancellation fees if required by the operator. Get Travel does not charge any additional cancellation fees.

The tour operator reserves the right of final interpretation regarding the cancellation policy for this tour.

If you have paid a partial deposit for your tour:

  1. If the departure date, price and itinerary details match our online reservation, our customer service team will confirm your booking immediately. In this case, the deposit is non-refundable.
  2. If the departure date, price or itinerary details differ from what is listed online, our customer service team will offer suitable alternatives. If you choose not to proceed, your deposit will be refunded in full.
