Skydive Great Ocean Road: 15,000ft Tandem Skydiving

  • Reference Itinerary:

    • 1. Arrival & Registration: Reach the jump site and complete APF registration (online beforehand is recommended).

    • 2. Expert Briefing: Complete weigh-in and forms, followed by ground safety training and posture guidance.

    • 3. Scenic Ascent: Gear up and enjoy a 20-minute scenic flight as you climb to altitude.

    • 4. The Jump: Leap from the aircraft for a heart-pounding 60-second freefall.

    • 5. Canopy Glide: After the parachute deploys, enjoy a serene 5-7 minute float with panoramic views.

    • 6. Achievement: Land safely, collect your certificate, and prepare for your transfer back to the city.

  • Duration Notice: Usually takes 3-4 hours, but may take a full day due to weather or ATC. Please keep your schedule flexible.

Tour Transporation

【Transportation & Itinerary Confirmation】

  • Transfer Package Special Policy:

    • For Mission Beach, Wollongong, Newcastle, Byron Bay, and Great Ocean Road, there is only one scheduled transfer per day.

    • The shuttle operates on a “group return” basis (returning only after everyone has jumped). You must reserve a full day for this activity.

    • Do not schedule other activities or flights departing before 20:00 on the same day.

  • Mandatory Reconfirmation:

    • Day-Before Call: You MUST call 1300 663 634 between 9:00 – 17:00 (Sydney Time) the day before your jump to reconfirm.

    • Stay Updated: Please keep your phone and email accessible. Check your inbox and SMS again the day before departure for any last-minute changes to time or location. An Australian mobile number is highly recommended.

  • Check-in Instructions:

    • Self-Drive:

      • Location: Barwon Heads Airport (1421 Barwon Heads Rd, Connewarre VIC 3227).

      • Note: Approx. 90km from Melbourne CBD (1.5-hour drive). Present your digital or printed Voucher upon arrival.

    • Free Shuttle Service (Transfer Package Required):

      • Pick-up Point: 17 Normanby Rd, Southbank VIC 3006.

      • Reminder: Arrive at least 10 minutes early. Look for the bus with “Australia Skydive” branding. Return times are TBC, so please allow for a full day.

Things to Note

  • Age Requirements: By law, the minimum age is 16. Ages 16–18 require a guardian’s presence and written consent. There is no maximum age limit.
  • Weight Surcharges: Notify us in writing prior to your jump date if you exceed 94kg. Surcharges (payable on-site): 94–104kg (AUD$55); 105–114kg (AUD$80); 115kg+ (AUD$105). Prices are subject to change.

  • Health & Medical Restrictions:

    • Prohibited: Pregnant women are not permitted to skydive. Not recommended for those with recent surgeries, cosmetic procedures, prosthetics, epilepsy, or heart conditions. Participants with disabilities must provide a doctor’s certificate and undergo on-site safety assessment.

    • Disclosures: Notify the APF of any pre-existing injuries, illnesses, or prescription medications.

    • Symptoms: If you have a cold, flu, or sinus/ear issues, skydiving may lead to health complications.

  • Safety Standards:

    • Substances: No alcohol or recreational drugs within 8 hours prior. We reserve the right to refuse service without refund for suspected intoxication.

    • Diving & Smoking: No scuba diving within 24 hours. No smoking within 8 hours prior to jump.

  • Dress Code & Personal Items:

    • Apparel: Wear loose, casual clothing and fully enclosed shoes (sneakers/runners). No heels or hiking boots. Shared clothing is not provided; bring warm layers/gloves for high altitudes.

    • Accessories: Contacts/Glasses are allowed (goggles provided; inform your instructor). Remove all loose items, including dentures or retainers.

    • Electronics: No personal cameras, phones, or video equipment are allowed on the plane or during the jump. SA is not liable for lost items (glasses, clothing, etc.).

  • Weather & Refunds: Skydiving is weather-dependent. Call 24 hours prior to confirm. If cancelled by weather, you may reschedule within 12 months. Refunds are available if you are leaving the state/country and cannot rebook.

  • FAQs:

    • Safety: In the rare event of a main parachute failure, the instructor will release the canopy and deploy the reserve parachute.

    • Insurance: Personal accident insurance (up to AUD$50,000) is included in the fee.

    • Nervousness: Feeling afraid is normal; inform your instructor so they can help ease your nerves.

    • Capacity: Aircraft typically hold 5–9 tandem pairs. We strive to keep groups together but cannot guarantee it.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellation 0-7 days before departure: 100% of the booking amount will be charged (100% loss).

Cancellation 8 days or more before departure: Full refund (0% loss).

  • Booking Confirmation: Upon successful booking, a confirmation voucher will be sent to your email containing essential details and participation notices. Please read it carefully. In the absence of feedback, it is assumed that you have read and acknowledged all information provided.

  • Insurance Recommendation: We strongly advise travelers to purchase travel insurance.   • Mediation: We will make every effort to assist travelers in communicating and negotiating solutions with the suppliers.

  • Special Terms for Marine Products: For marine-based products (including but not limited to cruises and whale watching), suppliers reserve the right to arrange alternative vessels or modify itineraries, schedules, routes, and/or destinations. Suppliers reserve the right to cancel or abandon a voyage for weather or safety reasons. We are not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred by passengers due to such substitutions or cancellations.
