🕒 Experience Flow (Approx. 12 Hours):
The Journey Begins: Early departure with a breakfast stop at Kings Creek Station (own expense).
Canyon Exploration: Arrive at Watarrka National Park and choose your path:
Rim Walk (3.5-4 hours): Climb the “stairway” to navigate steep rocks and deep canyons, visiting the Garden of Eden.
Floor Walk (Approx. 1 hour): A gentle stroll along the lush canyon bed to discover local flora and fauna.
Scenic Return: After lunch at Kings Creek Station (own expense), enjoy views of Mt. Conner and salt lakes on the drive back.

Footwear: Sturdy hiking boots or high-quality walking shoes are mandatory.
Health Advisory: The Rim Walk is physically intensive. Guests with heart conditions or high blood pressure are encouraged to opt for the leisurely Floor Walk.

🌡️ Extreme Heat Safety Protocol:
Seasonal Note: Between November and March, if the temperature reaches 36°C or higher, the North Rim of Kings Canyon will be closed by Watarrka National Park for safety reasons.
Itinerary Adjustment: In such cases, only the South Rim will remain open. Guests can participate in the South Rim walk, which takes approximately 2 hours return.

Plenty of water (at least 2 liters recommended)

Fitness Requirements:
Moderate to Advanced: For those choosing the ~3 hour Rim Walk.
Low to Moderate: For those opting for the gentler Creek Bed Walk.
A 15% administrative fee will be charged for any cancellations or amendments made after booking confirmation.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the departure date are non-refundable.
Important Note: To cancel outside of this 7-day window, you must contact us via email no later than 2 working days prior to departure, based on your tour’s local departure time zone.
If a refund is approved after review, the amount will be processed within 7–28 business days.
A cancellation request is only valid once it has been received and confirmed by us during our business operating hours.
