- Richmond Town: Boasts distinctive stone bridges, church exteriors, and streets lined with antique shops and handmade craft stores. Perfect for leisurely walks and photo-taking to experience the town’s charm.
- Victoria Dock: Offers stunning harbor views and is connected to art districts. Explore at your own pace and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of this waterfront area.
- Mt. Wellington / Pinnacle: Climb to the observation deck for a panoramic view of the city and bay, making it an ideal spot to admire Hobart in its entirety.
- Cascade Brewery: Features unique architecture for exterior photo opportunities. Guests can also enjoy drinks at the on-site bar to experience local beer culture (internal brewery tours require an additional fee).
- 09:00–09:30: Pick-up from hotel or airport and departure;
- 10:15: Arrive in Richmond Town for leisurely walks and photo-taking;
- 12:00: Reach Victoria Dock to enjoy harbor views and art districts. Lunch is at your own expense (guide provides restaurant recommendations);
- 14:30: Travel to Mt. Wellington. Climb to the observation deck for city and bay views (if the mountain road is temporarily closed, an alternative equivalent viewing spot will be arranged);
- 16:00: Exterior photography of Cascade Brewery;
- Approximately 17:00: Return transfer to hotel/airport, end of tour.
Air-conditioned tour vehicle is provided throughout the trip, including round-trip transfers from downtown hotels or airport.
- Equipment Preparation: There is a significant temperature difference at the mountain top. It is recommended to bring windproof and warm jackets, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection products, and drinking water;
- Safety Guidelines: Follow safety instructions at observation decks and do not cross guardrails;
- Itinerary Adjustment: The tour operates on rainy days. In case of severe weather or force majeure, the itinerary will be adjusted in accordance with safety standards and attraction policies;
- Contingency Plans: If Mt. Wellington’s summit road is closed, alternative viewing spots such as Mount Nelson or Rosny Hill will be arranged, ensuring unobstructed views of the city and bay;
- Stroller Accessibility: Strollers can be easily maneuvered in urban areas and on external platforms of the mountain top. However, prolonged stays on external platforms are not recommended in icy/snowy conditions or strong winds.
- A 15% administrative fee will be charged for any cancellations or amendments made after booking confirmation.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the departure date are non-refundable.
- Important Note: To cancel outside of this 7-day window, you must contact us via email no later than 2 working days prior to departure, based on your tour’s local departure time zone.
- If a refund is approved after review, the amount will be processed within 7–28 business days.
- A cancellation request is only valid once it has been received and confirmed by us during our business operating hours.
- Get Travel adheres to the cancellation policies set by each Tour Supplier and only charges cancellation fees where required by the supplier.
- Get Travel does not impose any additional cancellation charges.
- The Tour Supplier reserves the right to the final interpretation of the cancellation policy for this itinerary.
Regarding Deposit Payments (If Applicable)
- If the departure date, price, and itinerary details match the information on the website at the time of booking, the Customer Service team will immediately confirm the order. In this case, the deposit is non-refundable.
- If the departure date, price, or itinerary details do not match the website information, the Customer Service team will offer suitable alternative options.
- Should you choose not to proceed with the booking, the deposit will be refunded in full.
