    Tour Information

    7-Day NZ South Island West Coast & Glacier Tour

    Stunning West Coast: Cross the Southern Alps to see Castle Hill boulders and Punakaiki Pancake Rocks.

    Glacier Wonders: Marvel at the breathtaking views of ancient glaciers.

    Middle-earth: Visit Glenorchy (Paradise Valley), a “Lord of the Rings” location, and historic Arrowtown.

    Iconic Sights: Photograph “That Wanaka Tree” and enjoy free time in the resort town of Queenstown.

    • Day 1: Arrival in Christchurch

      • Airport pick-up provided followed by transfer to hotel.

      • Pick-up times: 15:30 and 17:30.

      • If flight times don’t match, please use taxi or airport shuttle at own expense.

      • Early arrivals can visit the International Antarctic Centre (NZD69/Adult, NZD45/Child).
      • Meals: Self-funded | Accommodation: IBIS Hotel Christchurch 3* or Motel

    • Day 2: Christchurch – Arthur’s Pass – Greymouth/Hokitika

      • Morning tour of Christchurch city and Botanic Gardens.

      • Drive through Arthur’s Pass National Park.

      • Visit Castle Hill, filming location for “The Chronicles of Narnia”.

      • Meals: Breakfast/Chinese Lunch/Chinese or Western Dinner | Accommodation: Hokitika or Greymouth area

    • Day 3: Greymouth/Hokitika – Glaciers – Haast

      • Visit the Pancake Rocks.

      • Explore Hokitika, the home of Pounamu (Jade).

      • Visit Ross Goldfields and the Glacier valley.

      • Optional: Helicopter glacier flight (self-funded).

      • Meals: Breakfast/Western Light Lunch/Western Dinner | Accommodation: Heartland World Heritage Hotel or Motel

    • Day 4: Haast – Wanaka – Queenstown

      • Visit Lake Wanaka and the “That Wanaka Tree”.

      • Arrive in Queenstown and take the ★Skyline Gondola.

      • Meals: Breakfast/Lunch Self-funded/Chinese Dinner | Accommodation: Copthorne Hotel and Resort Queenstown Lakefront or similar

    • Day 5: Queenstown – Glenorchy – Arrowtown – Queenstown

      • Explore Glenorchy and Paradise Valley (“Middle-earth”).

      • Afternoon visit to Arrowtown’s historic streets.

    • Day 6: Queenstown Free Day

    Tour Exclusions

    • Domestic or international airfares.

    • Personal expenses and costs due to force majeure.

    Tour Transporation

    This tour usually departs on the 7th, 17th and 27th of each month.

    • Airport Pick-up Service: Two free pick-up times are available at Christchurch Airport at 15:30 and 17:30 every day.
    • Missed Pick-up: Passengers need to arrange transportation to the next destination on their own and bear the relevant costs.
    • Airport Drop-off Service: This tour does not include drop-off service. Passengers need to go to the airport by themselves and can choose taxi, Uber or Super Shuttle.
    • Assisted Booking: Airport shuttle can be booked for an additional fee (pick-up: $30 per person; drop-off: starting from $25 per person as a reference).

    Things to Note

    Flights: Recommended arrival before 14:00 on Day 1; any departure time from Queenstown on Day 7.

    Rooms: Triple rooms default to one double + one single bed or two doubles. Three separate beds are not guaranteed.

    Rights: The company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary and price based on weather, traffic, etc.

    Cancelation Policy

    • Deposit: $500 per person upon booking; balance due 3 weeks before departure.

    • Fees:

      • 14-30 working days before departure: Loss of $500 deposit.

      • 7-14 working days before departure: Fee of $600 per person.

      • Within 7 working days: No refund of total tour fee.
